Timeline 3D

THE PROJECT

You have just had an unassisted crash-course in Timeline 3D and by now should know the ins and outs of how to use this new application. The next step is to put your knowledge of Timeline 3D to create a timeline for Black History Month.

THE RESEARCH

The point of Black History Month is the history of the events. This will be a two-part project.

Part One: A Collective Timeline 3D

Using the African-American's First Timeline below, you will be given a year or years and it will be your job to construct a timeline of the events from those years. You might need to click on the person or event to find the exact date that you'll need for your timeline.

Part Two: An Individual Timeline 3D

Using the link to Famous Firsts below, you are going to select an African-American who is famous for being the first in their field (WARNING: there might be a few who are excluded from being selected). After you have chosen, you will research this person using the Britannica link below. Your timeline should consist of no less than 10 milestone events in your person's life complete with title, description and date with month, day and year. Your timeline should include, but not limited:

     - birth

     - death

     - tragic events

     - accomplishments

     - etc.
