I hope you didn't think playing and building with Legos was all fun & games.
Once you've completed two buildings of you're choice (The Sears Tower, The John Hancock or The Empire State Building),
you will then be a Geometric Genius by completing the Three-Tiered-Task:
|
1st Tiered-Task: Length, Width & Perimeter

Above are the pieces you'll need for finding the length, width and perimeter
1) pick one color to represent the length and place it the length of buildings you constructed.
2) pick a different color to represent the width and place it the width of buildings you constructed
3) pick a third color to represent the perimeter and place around the building (on top of the length and width colors if need be) to show the perimeter
|
2nd Tiered-Task: Height
Above are the pieces you'll need for finding the height.
1) pick a color (one of the 1-by-1 pieces) and begin placing them one on top of the other until it reaches the very top of the building.
|
3rd Tiered-Task: Height
Above are the pieces you'll need for finding the height.
1) pick a color (one of the 1-by-1 pieces) and begin placing them one on top of the other until it reaches the very top of the building.
